Evolution of Vehicle Detailing
In the 1970s, vehicle detailing often meant a bucket of suds, chrome polish, paste wax, and plenty of elbow grease. Enthusiasts took pride in bringing out a deep shine, while professional car-care products became increasingly accessible to the home garage. As paint finishes and vehicle materials evolved, detailing progressed to include more refined polishes, synthetic sealants, specialized cleaners, and tools designed for greater precision.
Today, vehicle care goes well beyond a wash and wax. Advanced ceramic protection, surface-specific formulas, and products developed for gloss, matte, and satin finishes give owners more ways to clean, enhance, and protect their vehicles. At Auto Trim DESIGN®, the detailing products we offer reflect that progress—combining time-honored pride in a well-kept vehicle with modern care for today’s finishes.
