At Auto Trim DESIGN®, your satisfaction is important to us.

⚠ IMPORTANT — MOST ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE

Because of the specialized and made-to-order nature of our products, we ask that you carefully review the following policy prior to completing your purchase. We strongly encourage customers to verify product details, vehicle fitment, color selections, and installation requirements before placing an order.

Once an item has entered production or has been manufactured, it is considered a final sale.

1. Items Potentially Eligible for Return

(Prepackaged, In-Stock Items Only)

The following items may be eligible for return, subject to approval and applicable fees:

  • Car Care Products
  • Installation Tools and Supplies
  • GraphXOff™ Vinyl, Adhesive & Paint Remover Products

To qualify, items must be:

  • Unopened
  • Unused
  • In original packaging
  • In resalable condition

Return/Refund eligibility is determined upon inspection.

2. Non-Returnable Items (Final Sale)

The following items are not eligible for return under any circumstances:

  • All Decals and Graphics
  • All Paint Protection Film Kits
  • Roll Pinstripe Goods (all colors and configurations)
  • Custom order prepackaged items
  • Installed, used, altered, or damaged items
  • Incomplete kits or missing components

Unless explicitly listed under “Items Potentially Eligible for Return,” products should be considered final sale.

3. Made-to-Order Manufacturing Policy

Most of our products are digitally designed, stored, and manufactured only after an order is placed. This process ensures:

  • Fresh materials
  • Optimal adhesive performance
  • Maximum film stability
  • No aging or shelf-worn inventory

Because products are manufactured in specific colors, materials, and configurations, resale of produced items is unlikely. For this reason, manufactured items are non-returnable.

4. Order Cancellations

Cancellation requests must meet all of the following conditions:

  • Submitted within 24 hours of purchase
  • Item has not entered production
  • Item has not shipped
  • Item is not custom in nature

If production has begun or the order has shipped, cancellation is not permitted.

If a cancellation request is approved, a Cancellation Processing Fee of $9.95 will apply.

5. Customer Acknowledgment

By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:

  • They have verified vehicle compatibility and product selection
  • They understand which items are final sale
  • They accept the made-to-order nature of applicable products
  • They understand that most items are not eligible for return

Key Return Policy Details:

  • Timeframe: Returns within 30 days of invoice date. Returns after 30 days: Not accepted.
  • Shipping Fees: Shipping costs, including both the original shipping fee and return shipping fee, are non-refundable. These charges cover the costs associated with delivering your product to you and returning it to our facility.
  • Restocking & Processing Fees:
    • A 25% restocking fee applies to all returns.
    • A $9.95 processing fee will also be deducted from your refund.

Acceptable Reasons for Return

To initiate a return, please ensure your reason meets the following criteria:

  • Product Defect: Returns due to defects must include clear pictures of the issue.

Unacceptable Reasons for Return

We are unable to accept returns for the following reasons:

  • Changed your mind.
  • Spouse or partner disagrees with your purchase (we've heard it all).
  • Product does not match expectations or personal preferences.
  • Delivery delays or late arrivals.
  • No longer owning the vehicle or project the product was purchased for.
  • Difficulty in application or installation.

How to Start a Return

To begin the return process:

Click the profile icon in the store's menu.

Sign in to your account:

  1. In the "Email" field, enter your email address, and then click "Continue".
  2. In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.
  3. Go back to the online store, and then enter a six-digit verification code.

When successfully logged in to your account:

  1. Click "Request return" for the order that you want to submit the return for.
  2. If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.
  3. Select a return reason and add a note for the store.
  4. Click "Request return".

If your return request is approved and requires shipping, then you receive an email with shipping instructions. After the product is returned, a refund will be processed.

Note: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted or considered for a refund.

European Union Customers

For orders shipped to the European Union, you are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period. During this time, you may cancel or return your order for any reason, without providing justification. To qualify:

  • Items must remain in their original condition and packaging.
  • Proof of purchase (receipt) is required.

Refund Process

  • Upon receiving your return, we will inspect the item(s) and notify you of the refund status.
  • Approved refunds will be processed promptly. Please note:
    • Credit card refunds may take up to 10 business days to appear, depending on your card issuer.
